After many years in Executive Search Edwin started VA Search summer 2003. Since then the company has grown into a European Search Boutique with a distinctive and effective approach that has led to a 100% success rate on assignments.

Dedicated to building trusted relationships with both clients and candidates, Edwin ensures a constant high level of candidates by conducting all face-to-face interviews personally. Edwin is from the Netherlands and graduated in Economic and Social History at the VU in Amsterdam. He is fluent in Dutch and English, and has a good understanding of German.

Alex Lecointre

[Research Director]

Real insight into the ICT and consultancy industry is one of the primary forces behind VA Search's growth over the last seven years, and Alex has headed up our research department for the last six. Alex and his team bring a tried, tested and – above all – thorough approach to marketplace research, ensuring they always put forward candidates with the right skills and background as well as the right personality.

Alex holds an MSc in Environmental Management & Legislation. He is also fluent in English, Spanish and French, with a good working knowledge of Swedish, all of which have served him well during his decade in the Executive Search business.

Manuela Tiberio

[Principal Consultant]

Manuela is Italian and was born and raised in Belgium. She is fluent in Dutch, English, French and Italian. Before joining VA Search as Principal consultant she had an extensive career in corporate recruitment and HR consulting. Manuela personally interviews candidates for VA throughout Europe.

She has a high drive to deliver results and enjoys discussing client needs and matching these with candidate's ambitions. The truly European scope of VA Search fits her own international working background.

Manuela holds an MA in Communication Science from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. Her interests include design, reading, travelling and gastronomy.

Dalia Al-Fallouji

[Senior Consultant]

Born in London, Dalia holds a BA in Economics from the University of Essex.

Dalia speaks fluent English and Arabic and as a stickler for detail says the thing that she enjoys most about working for VA Search is the quality-driven ethos of the company.

Her diagnostic approach to searches ensures a perfect match for the needs of both employers and potential candidates.

Maria-Angeles Garcia

[Senior Consultant]

Maria-Angeles is originally from Madrid, Spain, and holds an MA in Human Resources Management & Organisation from the ESIC Business School and a degree in Sociology. Maria-Angeles moved to London in 2008 after working in France and Spain within the HR departments of Nissan West Europe and Grupo Dragados. She is trilingual in Spanish, English and French.

She enjoys finding the best people who can bring success to VA client’s and matching the candidate's ambitions and career goals.

Sandeep Bhamra

[Consultant]

Born in London, Sandeep holds an LLB (Hons) in Law from DeMontfort University and an LPC from the London College of Law. Before joining VA, Sandeep worked in the area of personal injury and in various senior customer service roles.

Sandeep takes great pride in matching outstanding companies with talented people. She has strong communication skills and has a focused drive to get the job done. She does this by thinking outside the box in order to find that unique and perfect candidate.

In her spare time, she enjoys running, reading, travelling and spending time with family and friends.

Vishal Ramkisoensing

[Consultant]

Vishal is from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. He has a MSc in Political Science and Public Administration from Leiden University and completed an Honours programme on Sustainable Development. He speaks fluent Dutch, English, and has a good working knowledge of German.

Vishal enjoys working in the dynamic multicultural environment that VA promotes. His favourite part of the job is the challenge of finding high-level executives who are both looking for a change and are perfect for the position he is working on.

Outside of work Vishal enjoys playing football.

Nicky van Gremberghe

[Consultant]

Originally from the Netherlands, Nicky holds an MSc in Economic Sociology from the London School of Economics. Having lived in Canada, she is fluent in both English and Dutch and has a good understanding of French and German.

Drawing upon her background in research and excellent analytical skills, Nicky enjoys identifying the long-term needs of both employers and candidates and helps us make the perfect match each and every time.

In her free time, Nicky is passionate about field hockey. Besides being an active player for Ladies2 at Waltham Forest Hockey Club, she is also a volunteer youth trainer, captain of the mixed team and fixtures secretary.

Alexandre Leblanc

[Consultant]

Alexandre is from Paris, France and holds a MSc in Sales & Marketing from the Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Troyes, France. Apart from French, he also speaks fluent English and Spanish and has a good working knowledge of German. Alexandre's background is in account management within the software industry.

Alexandre has strong interpersonal skills, which prove to be useful in identifying the long-term needs of both employers and candidates. He considers it a very exciting and great challenge to find the right candidate whose career and life will be enriched by the new position and who will make a remarkable and outstanding contribution to his or her new company.

Alexandre's interests include the Arts, especially music.

Giulia Lucchetta

[Consultant]

Giulia is originally from Venice, Italy and relocated to the UK in 2010 after graduating with a degree in Italian and International Law from the Universita' degli Studi di Padova. She is fluent in Italian and English and has a good knowledge of French.

Giulia's relationship with candidates is professional and transparent. She finds it important to provide precise and complete information to both candidates and client, as this makes the process smoother and allows everyone involved to make an informed decision.

Giulia enjoys travelling and experiencing new cultures as well as spending time with her family and friends.

Wessel van der Meulen

[Consultant]

Wessel studied at UCL and has a MSc in Anthropology, Environment and Development. Originally from the Dutch city of The Hague, Wessel is fluent in Dutch, English, Portuguese and has a good working knowledge of French.

Having gained experience in qualitative research during fieldwork projects in Brazil and Namibia, Wessel has developed strong interpersonal and interviewing skills, and thoroughly enjoys communicating with the many nationalities VA works with.

In his free time he enjoys travelling, attending cultural events, language practice sessions and literary reading groups.

Irina Dumont

[Consultant]

Irina is of dual French and Russian nationality and holds a MSc in International and Community Law from the Universite de Pau et Pays de l'Adour, France. Fluent in French, English and Russian, she also has good working knowledge of Spanish.

Irina particularly enjoys the research involved in finding the right candidate for the positions she works on.

Irina enjoys long distance running and has an interest in fashion.
